My lovely wife bought one of these in 2021. It’s probably her favorite and most worn outfit. If you want to talk about comfortability this is it!

While I overestimated my size (I’m 5’7” 195 lb female) I still absolutely love my Swytch. I ordered an XL and should probably have just a regular large. The sleeves and legs are suitable for taller folks. The material is warm and comfortable and really aids in movement. Also …I wish it came in red :)

So happy with the product. I am 5,5 140, I got a large. Wish I would have gotten a medium. But it is so comfortable. I can’t wait to wear it camping or taking my dog for a walk

I’m literally obsessed with this. I wear it around the house, I wear it when I go to get gas, if I get to hot, I lay it on top of myself like a blanket. I’m short and got the XL bc I’m on the heavier side (would love a plus size) but even that’s nice because my hands and feet stay warm without the booties and hand covers. My only regret is that our apartment is too warm for me to wear it all the time.

Want to visit outdoors in the winter? Google "Selk bag" - altho I think they should be called Selk SUIT since it does have fitted legs. I bought the Original Selk suit - MORE puffy, more insulated. They also have a "Lite" version - not quite as puffy - which might be right for some folks. Includes zip-off booties if you want to wear it inside your sleeping bag! Disadvantage - better hope it is warm where you need to pee!I already did visit outdoors from 7 to 9 PM wearing mine and was quite comfortable, altho my nose did get very cold! I plan to travel to the Arctic Circle in January and bought mine for the trip. It is VERY cozy!

My daughter has had a Selk Bag for several years and I never imagined myself in one. But then I started thinking I would love to wear it sitting around the campfire in fall and winter - and walking the dogs in winter - so I got one this year. And I am LOVING IT! I wear it everywhere. I love the vents, the hood, the look and the feel. I get so many compliments and people are always asking where I got it.

I am basically living in my Selk bag. I kind of thought I’d be obsessed with it when I ordered it, but obsessed might be too mild of a word to use. It is legit the highlight of my day when I slip on my Selk bag and run around with my dog or just use it for extra coziness lounging around my house. I’m taking it camping next week and it might single-handedly make me a “camper.” Run don’t walk to buy one if you’re considering it!

We love our Selk bags! I wear mine to walk the dog, grocery shop, and for the Christmas stroll down town. I always get positive comments. So warm, easy to zip into and just plain fun to wear. Here's our recent adventure to cabin for solstice and our Selk bag love.

I wanted to be able to sit in our lean-to in the winter without getting cold and the selk'bag did the trick - yay! I'm 5'7" and got a large. It was a good compromise for walking around and sitting. If I were to use it mainly for sitting and sleeping, an extra-large would work better (but I think it would be too long for walking around unless you put a belt on). This observation was consistent with the sizing advice on the web site.

I absolutely love the original Selk’bag and the color Green Ice is pretty! I can’t recommend this enough it’s really amazing and keeps me warm!

Best purchase for camping ever. At nights and in the mornings I never come out of this thing. I’ve worn it fishing, boating, tending to the fire. It’s amazing!! Couldn’t recommend enough!

This is now my third Selk bag, and I really can’t imagine life without them. I work on a farm and I wear them to do all my daily chores, whether that’s feeding yaks and horses, riding my tractor, or working in the greenhouse. Thank you for standing behind your products and for making a quality item!

If I could give this product 20 stars I would! Living off grid can be gruesome in the winter. I wasn’t made for the cold but this has been a game changer! I’ve never felt better! It keeps me so warm and cozy. Even my Mr. appreciates it because I’m outside keeping him company while he does things, without my selkbag I get too cold and have to go back inside. Best product ever! If you haven’t bought one yet, you’re missing out!

I am LOVING my Selk’bag. I’ve already referred my friends and family to get one for themselves. The bag is way more comfortable than I thought it would be, I was envisioning the stiffness of a typical sleeping bag but this is so soft and feels lived in yet sturdy. I’m so warm! I love the Ash color I got as well.

Have hips? I’m sorry to say there might not be room for them in these suits. Seemed amazing, but as both a petite and hourglass person, these simply are clearly not cut for me.

I haven't been able to wear this for an extended period of time yet because it's still hot outside, but I'm really looking forward to it. They thought of everything for this one. Pocket, 2 way zipper so you can reach into your inside pockets, knee vents, zip off booties, zip off pants (to pee, duh), the hood, the hand flaps. As a forever cold person this is going to be great. Worried about it around a fire because sleeping bags tend to be melty when sparks land on them so I probably won't risk that. I can't remember if it has armpit vents? That'd be great too though.

Fit was great for me (sized large for 5’7” female 185 lbs). Spent the weekend camping in ~40F overnight and was quite comfortable with long underwear and my Selkbag!

As someone who loves camping in Alaska (but is always cold) I often hop around my campsite in an actual sleeping bag. So, when I saw that there was a wearable one, I bought it so quickly. It’s incredible. It’s so warm and so nice to wear. 10/10.

While I haven’t put this to use yet, I’m very excited to use it this wildfire season. I’m excited about the versatility of the bag and how it can be used by wildland firefighters. With the compression stuff sac I am able to pack it very small which is crucial because I have limited gear space. Wildland firefighters sleep in weird places and this bag seems like the right tool for the job. I did try the bag on and my only complaint, which is why I didn’t give five stars, is the XL is still small for my frame. I understand the company used to sell a XXL which is probably what I need. In addition I’m taller than average and could use more length. I did purchase the leg extenders and that helps a bit, but I will still be sleeping with a heavy duty sock to keep my feet and legs warm.

Love it! One unexpected highlight: my baby fits into it with me when she’s in the carrier.
Congrats, guys—you created something truly wonderful. The fit is comfy for me (173 cm). I initially thought the balaclava would be useless, but it turns out I really appreciate it.
One tiny detail I think is genius is the extra Velcro on the throat latch. It allows you to stick the Velcro aside when the jacket is open—no scratching or entangled hair.
Just a few small things I would consider changing if I were a product developer:
Move the chest zipper to the middle, but end it halfway down so the big pouch can stay. Why: when I sit down or pick something up, it pulls on my throat. Having a zipper in the middle would be an easy fix for that. Also, breastfeeding would be easier on both sides :) Right now the jacket doesn’t fully open anyway, so this would stay the same.
If a more expensive version were an option: add vents under the armpits (I wore it skiing when it was actually too warm), add a zippered pocket on the chest, and elastics on the wrists since the sleeves are long (though they can easily be folded back).
The booties are a bit tricky to put on when sitting. Also, getting out of the tent and into shoes is impossible while wearing them, so they have to be removed. Having a zipper in the toe area would probably fix both issues.
I don’t want it to seem like I don’t enjoy it! In fact, I love it and wear it so often since I got it. I just think and talk about it a lot, which naturally leads to lots of ideas for further improvements.
