SWYTCH Lite

This is my second selk bag and i love it.
First one was a large, second a medium. The large was too big and long for me and the medium is tight and way too short. Im neither big or tall so it feels like a kids size. I will just have to high water it without the booties. The zipper band is too low and kind of in an uncomfortable spot. HOWEVER! I love them, i wear them daily when its cold to so farm chores, forest frolicking and even when im sitting and writing bc i get cold. They wash easy, get even more comfy each time and the cross front zipper that opens at either end is awesome to let the heat out as needed especially hiking. I do have some suggestions for your upgraded design and would love to be a true product tester! We need an elastic cord ariund waist so that when we take off top half to cool off it can stay up. Zipper pockets with a zipper in the bottom of it so you can access the pockets in your under layers. And the pee zipper needs to move up its below the booty and hard to use maybe only let the back half unzip so you don't have to worry about the pockets in the front?

I had been wanting a walking sleeping bag for some time. Happily, this Christmas (after effusive hinting), my family gifted me a gorgeous teal lite recycled! I cant express enough how much I LOVE IT!!! I am 5'2" and the medium fits me perfectly. It is just right to be cozy and wrapped up with the feet on and also comes just below the top of my boots with the feet off. It is spacious enough to wear with a bulky sweater underneath, but I have usually been fine out walking in a crisp, Canadian evening with a long sleeve t shirt and light fleece underneath. The side zipper is super convenient for getting kleenex/lip balm out of your clothing pockets without a big ordeal and the hood is extra protection when the wind is up. The front pocket is plenty big enough for phone/keys..etc, or for your hands if you forget your mitts (but you can always flip the hand covers over too). I prefer to walk with a waist bag to keep dog treats and belongings at hand and even cinched in at the waist, there is no problem feeling like the suit is riding up of shortened in the legs for movement. High praise for functionality, plus it is so cool looking too!!!!

As a Washingtonian I appreciate the Selk Bag every day! Our mornings are almost always a little chilly and it’s a nice cozy way to snuggle up in my home office in the mornings or hang out with the family in the evenings.

This has truly changed my life. As a van life, nomadic being It’s a bit of a journey staying warm as these winter months approach. Lugging around a bunch of blankets can get heavy and annoying in all honesty. So being able to just walk around in a huge sleeping bag, walk down to catch a sunrise by the water, on a crispy morning, or simply just getting around the van in the cold nights, it’s saved my little body from the cold. truly! so grateful.

I agonized over picking the right size. Hopefully this helps you. I'm 5'6" tall, 155lbs, average athletic buid, 32 waist, 30 inseam. I bought a medium seen in my pics.The fit: all I wanted this for was winter walks with my dog around the neighborhood. I figured since I wouldn't be wearing the Booties or sleeping in it I'd go with a medium even though I was 1" taller than a medium is recommended for even when only using it actively. If I planned to sleep in it I definitely would gotten the large for extra room. As it is, the medium BARELY fits. I can walk around with no problem but the legs only reach my upper ankles, the crotch is pulled up a bit tight, and the shoulders feel like they're somewhat restrictive. Again, for 20 - 30 walks this is all ok. With the Booties on its definitely tight. Still wearable, but tight. When I raise my arms up the sleeves get pulled way down to my forearms and the crotch pulls up even tighter than it normally is. I didn't get a large because I didn't want this to be baggy at all when I was walking around. I wanted to be able to put a layer over it when it got below freezing and still walk outside comfortable. The medium works well for that and is just comfortable enough to not be annoying.As far as the selkbag itself goes, it's super comfortable and super warm. Honestly it's as warm as any of the down winter jackets I own with the added benefit of keeping my legs just as warm and not letting drafts in as even the warmest 2 piece winter outfit would. The zippers all work well and are easy to grasp even with light gloves on. The elastic hand pouches at the end of the sleeves is great for keeping the hand warm while still allowing you to slip your hands outside of them if / when necessary. The kangaroo pocket is convenient although the material on the external portion of the pocket is not insulated like the under layer is. The hood is just as warm as the rest of the bag and clinches up nice with the Drawcord. The material of the back really is buttery soft all around.At first I thought of getting the original model but I'm glad I didn't as the lite model is plenty warm enough without all the extra baggy ess that would impede mobility. I suppose if you're winter camping, or depending hours outside in sub 40 degree weather you might want the original, but for an hour or less outside, even down to 36 degrees this is enough.

I finally got to use this for the 1st time last night at my sons ballgame... do not hesitate, GET IT. Ive used carhart overalls before, and these are JUST as warm, if not warmer, plus its your whole body! I had debating getting an under the weather tent for years, and would have needed the $200 one, but decided to give this a go instead, and YES... i made a great decision. you cant get out and walk around with the tent, but you CAN with this... i got so many oooos and aaawwws.... too i cant get referral points. haha... dont hesistate... and now i can get some for the whole family, and still cheaper than the tent, and more efficient.

I love this selk’bag because it turns me into a marshmallow person without completely limiting my mobility. It’s lightweight, but still keeps me super toasty. Especially when I’m chilled to the bone and can’t warm up, I throw this thing on and start to thaw. It’s great with the booties on, but I also love that they can be detached so I can walk around with regular shoes and go outside without ruining my selk’bag. The hand flaps are so much better than the original style velcro ones because you can just pop your hands in and out easily without needing your other hand to assist. But my favorite part of all is the cool rainforest design. Lots of hidden animals and quite interesting to look at. I ordered the size large and my husband and I both fit it. It’s a little big on me (5’6”, 140#), but it fits my husband perfect (5’10”, 230#).

Maximum comfort and I love the warmth. I can easily sleep in this without a blanket. I can’t believe they haven’t made one of these sooner. Next camping trip I’m packing this instead of my sleeping bag. The only problem I’ve had is with zipping it up. You have to make certain the silky interior is out of the path of the zipper or it snags easily. Other than that I’ve had no problems with it. Fits well at the sleeves. A bit baggy on me but I like it that way. The bottom feet can be removed. Fantastic stitching. Simple to wash. Wonderful gift idea, especially for someone who is always cold in the winter. Ample room in the hood. No problem to maneuver in.

Bought 2 as Christmas gifts for family but I think I need one of my own.

I absolutely freaking adore selkbags. I love the outdoors, I love camping, I love glasses of wine by the campsite. BUT I get cold. With selk bag no more. I LOVE this product so much.

The print on this Selk'bag is absolutely beautiful! And I LOVE that it is eco-friendly. The bag itself is super cozy and comfortable.. It's lightweight but nice and warm- perfect for Spring and Summer camping. I am also loving it for hanging around the house and cuddling with my pup! It's a must-have!!

I love my Selk lite! Perfect fit on my 5'8" 160 lb frame. I took booties off as they aren't fitted. It is warm but not hot insulation. I wear it inside where my spouse likes temp at 66 and wear outside (20s and 30s) to let dog out. Good construction. Im very happy.

Ya me me llegó, antes de la fecha prometida y estoy encantado con el producto. El tamaño que elegí (L) me queda muy bien a mis 1.73 mts. Los materiales estan muy suaves, cómodos y sobre todo mantiene el calor del cuerpo de forma excelente. Por estos dias hace frío en Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico y me llegó justo cuando bajaba la temperatura. Muy buen servicio de entrega..!!

This is really fun and cool! I was worried it would be too small for me, I’m 5’3” and 155. This felt like it was made for me! I’m attaching a video of me getting into it, and a picture of my son wearing it at a sleepover. He’s 5’6” and weighs around 125. I’m now trying to figure out if I can use waterproof spray to protect it so I can wear it to an outdoor beer and music festival.I really wanted a retro looking snowsuit, and this is a multipurpose item. I might buy one for each vehicle that we have to put in our emergency kits. We live in an area that gets a lot of snow.

Being cold in an old house, I used to wear 5 layers to be in the bed, with a thermal blanket plus the portable oil heater. I bought this to be worn at home, and with the feet attached, it keeps me warm that I only wear lightly inside. I never tried for outdoor use and don’t intend to. I am small sized, and medium is big for me but I fold my arm if I have to. Eitherwise, thank you for making this product, you really saved my coldness this winter.
