So you didn’t get invited to the big road trip some of your coworkers were planning. BIG DEAL! Right? You could spend the rest of the day wondering if you were friendly enough, did you smile too much, were you helpful? Or instead of drowning your sorrows in a tub of ice cream and a large extra cheese pizza, it’s time to make your own fun. Guess what, life just handed you lemons and it’s time to make some lemonade!
Backyard Camping
Camping in your backyard is the equivalent of sticking your toes in the pool to see how cold the water is. If it’s too cold, you can just sit on the sidelines and enjoy the day. But, if it’s warm, you can still dive right in. With backyard camping, you can enjoy all of your favorite camping things like your Selk’bag, s’mores, and tent without having to trek out into the nearest campground! Dance-off
Round up the other coworkers around the office who didn’t make the invite list and invite them over for a small get together. If you’ve been practicing a few new dance moves, then now is the time to show them off. Just remember not to challenge the best dancer in the office to a dance battle. Or else, you’ll probably hear about how you lost at your own party on Monday, the Monday after that, the Monday next year….you get the picture!?
Movie Marathon
Sometimes it’s fun to watch movies on your own. However, sometimes it’s even more fun when you have people to share it with. No more laughing by yourself about that funny one-liner, round up the troops and put together a movie marathon list that will make any movie connoisseur weep. Stay comfy and zip up your Selk’bags.
