SHIPPING & ORDERS

When will my order ship?
Orders typically leave our warehouse within 1–2 business days. Transit time depends on your destination and the shipping method selected at checkout. We don't ship on weekends or holidays.

How can I track my order?
Once your order ships, we'll email you a shipping confirmation with tracking information. If you're having trouble tracking your package, contact us and we'll be happy to help.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
We move pretty fast around here, so contact us as soon as possible if you need to make a change or cancellation. We'll do our best to catch it before your order ships.

Can I upgrade my shipping service after my order has been placed?
Once an order has been placed, we generally can't change the shipping method selected at checkout. If you need help with an existing order, contact us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to help.

Can I ship my order to a PO Box?
Yes. We can ship to PO Boxes using USPS. Available shipping options and delivery times will be shown at checkout.

What if I won't be home when my package arrives?
Most Selk'bag orders don't require a signature. Use the tracking information in your shipping confirmation to follow your package and manage any available delivery options directly with the carrier.

What if my tracking says delivered but I haven't received my order?
First, check around your delivery location and with neighbors or anyone else who may have received it. Still missing? Contact us  and we'll help you figure out what happened.

My tracking information isn't updating. What should I do?
Tracking can occasionally take a little time to update after your package leaves our warehouse. If it hasn't updated for an extended period or something doesn't look right, contact us and we'll be happy to help.

I entered the wrong shipping address or information. Can I change it?
Contact us as soon as possible. We process orders quickly, but if your order hasn't shipped yet, we'll do our best to correct the information.

Do you offer free shipping in the U.S.?
Yes! We offer free shipping on U.S. orders over $99.

Do you ship to Canada?
Absolutely. We have inventory in Canada, which means faster domestic delivery and no surprise import duties or charges when your Selk'bag arrives.

Do you offer free shipping to Canada?
Yes! Canadian orders over $159 CAD ship free.

Will I have to pay duties when ordering from Canada?
No surprise duties here. Canadian orders ship from our Canadian inventory, so you won't get hit with unexpected import duties or charges when your Selk'bag arrives.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes! Selk'bag ships internationally. Shipping options, transit times, duties and taxes vary by destination. Check the available options at checkout for the latest information for your country.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Can I return or exchange my Selk'bag?
Yes. U.S. and Canada orders can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery. Start your return or exchange through our online returns portal.

How do I start a return or exchange?
Use our online returns portal  to start your request within 30 days of delivery. Once approved, you'll receive the instructions and return shipping information you need.

Are exchanges free?
Yes. Exchanges on eligible U.S. and Canada orders are free within 30 days of delivery. Start your exchange through our online returns portal and we'll take it from there.

How much does a return cost?
Returns to the original payment method have a $12.95 USD / $17.95 CAD return fee. Choose store credit instead and we'll cover the return label.

Can I return sale items?
Yes. Sale and discounted items follow our regular return policy unless they're specifically marked Final Sale. Items marked Final Sale aren't eligible for returns or exchanges.

Can international orders be returned or exchanged?
Orders shipped outside the U.S. and Canada aren't currently eligible for returns or exchanges. Please double-check sizing before ordering, and contact us if you need help choosing the right size.

ABOUT SELK'BAG

What is a Selk'bag?
Selk'bag is basically a sleeping bag you can wear. Separate arms and legs give you sleeping-bag warmth while letting you walk, sit, use your hands, and move around freely.

What is a wearable sleeping bag?
A wearable sleeping bag combines the warmth and insulation of a sleeping bag with separate arms and legs so you can actually move around while wearing it. That's the idea Selk'bag was built around.

How is Selk'bag different from a regular sleeping bag?
Regular sleeping bags are great until you actually need to do something. Selk'bag gives you separate arms and legs, so you can walk, sit, use your hands, and move around while staying wrapped in sleeping-bag warmth. No hopping around camp inside a giant nylon burrito required.

Can I walk around while wearing a Selk'bag?
Absolutely. That's kind of the point. Separate arms and legs let you walk around camp, sit on the sidelines, make coffee, walk the dog, or just move around without climbing out of your sleeping bag.

Can I sleep in a Selk'bag?
Yes. Selk'bag combines the warmth and comfort of a sleeping bag with the freedom to move when you're awake, so you can sleep in it and get up without leaving your cozy cocoon behind.

What can I use a Selk'bag for besides camping?
A lot. Think cold soccer sidelines, campfires, cabins, van life, outdoor events, stargazing, dog walks, travel, or just staying ridiculously cozy at home.

Is Selk'bag good for camping?
Absolutely. Camping is where Selk'bag started. You get sleeping-bag warmth at night with the freedom to get up, walk around camp, make coffee, hang by the fire, or start your morning without immediately climbing out of your warmth.

Is Selk'bag good for watching outdoor sports?
Cold soccer sidelines? Football bleachers? Three games back-to-back? This is Selk'bag territory. Stay wrapped in sleeping-bag warmth while still being able to stand, walk around, use your hands, or celebrate the goal without fighting a blanket.

Can I use my Selk'bag indoors?
Of course. Plenty of Selk'bag owners use theirs for lounging, working from a chilly home office, movie nights, cabins, or anywhere staying ridiculously cozy sounds like a good idea.

CHOOSING YOUR SELK'BAG

What's the difference between SWYTCH Lite, Original and Pro?
Lite is our lightest option for milder conditions, Original adds more insulation for cooler weather, and Pro is our warmest SWYTCH for colder outdoor conditions.

Which Selk'bag is the warmest?
SWYTCH Pro is our warmest SWYTCH model and is designed for colder conditions. If maximum warmth is your priority, start there.

What is the SWYTCH system?
SWYTCH lets you zip off the lower section of your Selk'bag and wear the upper half as an insulated jacket. Sleeping bag when you want it, jacket when you don't.

How do I choose the right Selk'bag size?
Start with your height and body measurements using our Size Guide. You want enough room to move comfortably without going unnecessarily oversized, since proper fit also helps your Selk'bag keep you warm.

Should I size up in a Selk'bag?
Don't automatically size up just because you want extra room. Use our Size Guide and choose the size that best matches your measurements so you have comfortable freedom of movement without excessive empty space.

Can I wear layers underneath my Selk'bag?
Absolutely. Wearing a good base layer or other clothing underneath your Selk'bag can add warmth, especially in colder conditions. Just make sure everything still fits comfortably without compressing the insulation too much.

Can I wear shoes or boots with my Selk'bag?
Yes. All current Selk'bag models have removable booties, so you can take them off and wear your own shoes or boots while staying inside your Selk'bag.

Does my Selk'bag come with a stuff sack?
Yes. Every Selk'bag comes with a stuff sack for carrying, packing, and travel. For long-term storage, we recommend storing your Selk'bag loosely rather than keeping it compressed for extended periods.

TEMPERATURE & WARMTH

What do Selk'bag temperature ratings mean?
Temperature ratings help you compare how different Selk'bag models perform in cooler conditions. They're a guide rather than a guarantee, since clothing, sleeping surface, wind, humidity, activity level, and personal cold tolerance all affect how warm you'll feel.

Are Selk'bag temperature ratings tested to an international standard?
Yes. Our current SWYTCH Lite, Original and Pro models are tested according to ISO 23537, the international standard used to measure and compare sleeping bag thermal performance.

What does the Comfort temperature rating mean?
The Comfort rating represents the temperature at which a standard woman can expect to sleep comfortably in a relaxed position under the test conditions. If you tend to get cold easily, this is the rating we'd pay the most attention to.

What does the Limit temperature rating mean?
The Limit rating represents a lower temperature at which a standard man can expect to sleep comfortably under the test conditions. It shouldn't be interpreted as the temperature at which everyone will feel comfortably warm.

Why can two people feel different at the same temperature?
Because warmth is personal. Your metabolism, clothing, activity level, wind, humidity, sleeping surface, and whether you naturally run hot or cold can all change how a temperature feels.

How can I stay warmer in my Selk'bag?
Layer up with a good base layer, use an insulated sleeping pad when sleeping outdoors, protect yourself from wind and moisture, and keep your head warm. Just like a traditional sleeping bag, what you wear and what's underneath you can make a big difference.

Do I need a sleeping pad when sleeping outside in a Selk'bag?
We recommend an insulated sleeping pad when sleeping outdoors. Your body compresses insulation underneath you, so a good sleeping pad helps reduce heat loss to the ground and can make a big difference in overall warmth.

MATERIALS, CARE & SUSTAINTABILITY

Are Selk'bags PFAS-free?
Yes. All current SWYTCH Lite, Original and Pro models are PFAS-free.

Does Selk'bag use recycled materials?
Yes. Recycled materials are used across our current Selk'bag lineup, with exact materials varying by model. Check the individual product page for the specific materials used in each Selk'bag.

Are Selk'bags machine washable?
Yes, current Selk'bags are designed to be machine washable. Always follow the care instructions on your specific Selk'bag to protect its materials and insulation and keep it cozy for as long as possible.

How should I store my Selk'bag?
Make sure your Selk'bag is completely dry before storing it. For long-term storage, give the insulation room to breathe rather than leaving it tightly compressed in its stuff sack for extended periods.

WARRANTY & CUSTOMER SUPPORT

What is the Selk'bag warranty?
Selk'bag includes a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidents, improper care, or misuse isn't considered a manufacturing defect.

How do I make a warranty claim?
Contact our customer service team with your order information, a description of the issue, and photos if possible. We'll review it and help determine the best next step.

What if I received the wrong or damaged item?
We'll make it right. Contact us with your order number and photos of what you received, and our team will help get things sorted out.

How can I contact Selk'bag customer service?
